It’s going to make our team better,” Minter said. “Obviously, it’s a position where we’ve had a rash of injuries, so I’m excited about adding him. He’s obviously a very high-caliber player. Been in the Pro Bowl the last couple years.”.
The acquisition reflects a long-standing interest from the Baltimore front office. General manager Eric DeCosta confirmed that Jurgens has been on their radar since the 2022 draft process, where the Eagles originally selected him with the 51st overall pick.
“We are excited to acquire a two-time Pro Bowl center, Cam Jurgens, from the Eagles in a trade,” DeCosta said. “Cam is a player we have long admired going all the way back to the draft process. He’s a young foundational piece along our offensive line – a great scheme and cultural fit who will contribute quickly in Baltimore. We are confident that Cam will significantly impact our team and community.”.
Jurgens arrives in Baltimore with a proven pedigree, having been a part of the Eagles’ Super Bowl-winning squad.
