Father of Late Model Sahara Ray’s Infant Daughter Identified Through Birth Records

The identity of the father of Sahara Ray’s infant daughter has been revealed in public records just days after the Australian swimwear entrepreneur and model passed away at the age of 34.
According to official documentation, including a birth certificate cited in recent reports, 38-year-old Michael Bradley Dow is listed as the father of Snow Ray Dow. The young child was welcomed by Ray on January 27, arriving at 12:19 a.m. at a Los Angeles hospital. Throughout her life, the entrepreneur had kept the identity of her daughter’s father private, never publicly disclosing his name before her passing.
Ray died Sunday at a Los Angeles hospital surrounded by friends and loved ones. Family members made the difficult decision to remove her from life support that day after she had been rushed to the hospital following a suspected fentanyl overdose on Friday. An official cause of death has not yet been formally released by authorities, and it remains undetermined whether the overdose was accidental.
The model, who was previously linked in media reports to pop star Justin Bieber in 2016, frequently shared her journey into motherhood with her followers. She formally introduced baby Snow to social media in April, posting an image accompanied by Bieber’s 2016 track “Everything Hallelujah” and the caption “Baby snow hallelujah.” Her final social media post, published in July, featured a series of photographs of the infant, accompanied by the caption, “My whole heart white heart emoji baby Snow.”
In the wake of her passing, family members have issued heartfelt tributes remembering her life and passions. Her mother, Gretchen Bach, released a statement honoring her daughter’s memory. Sahara was described as an intensely passionate and kind young woman who held a deep affection for her family, fashion, her daughter Snow, and surfing. Bach also expressed gratitude for the outpouring of affection arriving from cherished friends, fans, and various global communities where Ray maintained a presence. Additionally, her younger sister, Ruby Ray, shared a tribute on Tuesday featuring a collection of throwback photographs on Instagram.
As the daughter of legendary professional surfer Tony Ray, the late entrepreneur had largely stepped back from public life in recent years. Her final recorded public appearance took place in November 2023 at the Ashton Michael RTW plus 10-Year Anniversary Show, titled “Punk Tsugi,” held in Los Angeles. During that event, she appeared alongside her then-boyfriend Mod Sun and musician SIIICKBRAIN.
In April 2024, Ray disclosed personal health struggles to the public, revealing she had been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome following a car accident. The rare autoimmune condition left her temporarily reliant on a wheelchair and partially paralyzed before her passing.
