Tom Cruise and James Corden Share Quick Hug Outside Funke

Tom Cruise, 63, and former late-night host James Corden, 47, were seen sharing a quick embrace as they exited Funke in Beverly Hills on Monday night, June 8.

Tom Cruise hopped on his motorcycle and sped off fast—but not before a brief moment with James Corden outside Funke.

The 63-year-old movie star and the 47-year-old former late night host were photographed sharing a quick embrace as they exited the restaurant on Monday night, June 8, in Beverly Hills, Calif. The exchange happened right in front of photographers who were already waiting.

Then it was back to motion: Tom climbed onto his motorcycle and sped away after the quick greeting.

Cruise and Corden are longtime friends. Over the years, Tom appeared on The Late Late Show, where Corden previously hosted.

Corden, for his part, is no longer hosting his late night show. He previously revealed his worst celebrity guest ever, adding another layer to the behind-the-scenes history between the two.

Cruise is also just one of Corden’s many celebrity connections—Corden has been seen on vacation with a huge superstar as well.

The photos keep the moment simple: dinner together, a quick hug, and then Cruise heading out on the motorcycle as the night’s cameras rolled on.

  1. Is this the restaurant everyone keeps talking about? Like Funke?? Sounds made up. Also why are they hugging in front of cameras like that.

  2. Wait Corden isn’t even hosting anymore but they’re still doing the same late night crossover stuff? I thought he moved on because of like the Oscars thing or whatever. The article says quick hug then he sped off… does that mean Tom was late to a meeting or something lol.

  3. Funny how it’s “simple dinner” but it’s literally photographers waiting. Also Tom cruising on his bike right after a hug feels kinda staged? Like they planned the timing or it’s just a marketing stunt for the movie that’s coming out… unless Funke is actually some big celebrity chain or something.
