After the KO, Ray J told Supa Hot Fire, “Like a motherf***er bro. Damn bro. Like that?” He continued, “For real … that’s janky as f***.”
When a post-fight in-ring interviewer asked, “Say what you gotta say man,” Ray J replied, “I don’t want to say too much because I don’t want to get nobody in trouble, but damn … we took an L tonight.”
The interviewer pressed further, saying, “We didn’t take s***, your ass was over here … you want me to show you what you did?” He then walked to the area where Ray J had fallen, adding, “Where was ya’ll at? … he took one punch.”
Ray J walked away from the interviewer, and the in-ring commentator sounded frustrated on the microphone. “Ray J, this is professional man. You can’t just do what the f***… you can talk backstage,” he told the rapper. “I ain’t even gonna interview ya’ll.”
As Ray J returned, the mic caught him talking to Supa Hot Fire about the aftermath: “You know how much money we lost?”
The interviewer cut in, saying, “We didn’t think you was gonna win — so how ya’ll lost money? That’s a good method … if I got my ass knocked out. Look at that … you got one of those cartoon lumps,” pointing to the welt forming on Ray J’s forehead from the knockout loss.
