Rosalía was set to be in Florida this week, but by Tuesday her plans had shifted—quietly, and with a reason shared only as far as “a family emergency.”
The 33-year-old Spanish superstar has postponed her upcoming shows in Miami on Thursday (June 4) and Saturday (June 6). as well as her Orlando date on Monday (June 8). Live Nation said the change comes because Rosalía “has to postpone” those performances. adding that she’s “sorry to disappoint her fans” but has “no other choice” given the circumstances.
As the tour team works through rescheduling, Live Nation asked fans to “hold onto your ticket” and promised “more information soon.”
It’s not yet clear what the emergency involves. but the postponements land during the run of a major global schedule for an artist in the middle of her biggest headlining tour to date. Rosalía began her LUX Tour on March 16 at the LDLC Arena in Lyon. France. then moved through Paris. France. and later traveled across Switzerland. Italy. and Spain.
By the time the tour wraps up in September in San Juan at Coliseo de Puerto Rico, it will have taken her to 17 countries and 42 arenas.
