Ray J knocked out by Supa Hot Fire in round two

Ray J’s celebrity MMA run ended fast at Adin Ross’ UFC Apex event in Las Vegas, with Supa Hot Fire scoring a second-round knockout after a left hook. The loss was followed by an after-fight interview that added a new layer to the moment.

Ray J didn’t get the chance to build momentum. Saturday night, he was dropped and the fight ended soon after—his celebrity MMA bout in Las Vegas turning into a quick reminder that hype doesn’t always survive the first real impact.

The R&B singer went toe-to-toe with YouTuber Supa Hot Fire for just two rounds in their co-main MMA fight at Adin Ross’ UFC Apex event in Las Vegas. For a moment in the second round, Ray had Supa near the ropes, landing a few body punches as the crowd watched the exchange tighten.

Then Supa Hot Fire swung with a hard left hook square in the face. Ray went down into the ropes before hitting the canvas. He got back to his feet, but he looked dazed—so dazed he had to sit down on a stool. The referee stopped the fight, and that was it.

The knockout didn’t settle things. It carried straight into an after-fight interview where Ray suggested he had a plan in place with Supa Hot and that the two “lost money” as a result of the knockout.

The evening’s other co-main fight played out differently. Former Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel made quick work of social media influencer Bob Menery, beating him in the first round.

  1. Wait so Ray J said he had a plan?? Like with the knockout?? That sounds weird, but also not surprised. Celeb fights always get hyped then someone lands one clean shot and it’s over.

  2. He didn’t even last two rounds lol. Kinda funny how they were talking money in the interview, like bro you got knocked out, the money part don’t matter. I saw a clip and thought Adin Ross was in the fight or something, idk.

  3. I don’t get how people act like this proves something either way. One left hook and everyone’s like “hype doesn’t survive” but that’s also just MMA… I’m more confused by the “lost money” comment like they were betting on themselves? And Manziel winning fast over Bob Menery was the real plot twist honestly.
