For weeks now, the silence has stretched longer than anyone expected. Boston police say 15-year-old Briyana Jacques, a Dorchester resident, has not been seen since she left her home for school on the morning of Tuesday, May 19.
At the time she was last spotted, Jacques was wearing a black zip-up jacket and gray sweatpants. The report describes her as a Black female. approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds. with a slender build and medium brown skin. Police also say she has brown hair with some red coloring, worn in lengthy box braids.
Authorities received a missing person report on Saturday, May 23. Since then, Boston police say the teenager has had limited contact with family and friends.
Police are urging anyone with information about Jacques’ whereabouts to call 911. They also direct tips to B-3 detectives at 617-343-2309. Community members can submit tips anonymously at police.boston.gov/crimestoppers.
