A new wave of hero power is heading into Fortnite: Epic Games and Blizzard Entertainment have unveiled an Overwatch collaboration packed with character skins, map landmarks, and weapon changes, arriving in an update set to go live tomorrow, May 14.
The most visible additions are the Overwatch hero outfits coming to Fortnite. Players will be able to collect skins for Tracer, Genji, D.Va, and Mercy, bringing some of the franchise’s best-known looks into the battle royale.
Meanwhile, the Fortnite battle island itself is set to be reshaped with new landmarks inspired by iconic Overwatch locations. The update will add Hanamura, Busan Drum Pavilion, King’s Row, and Watchpoints as points of interest players can navigate during matches.
