Off Campus is the show now taking up that post–The Boys momentum. and it isn’t taking its time to arrive. Based on Elle Kennedy’s book series. the acclaimed series has been dubbed by many as the perfect replacement for HBO Max’s Heated Rivalry. It pairs a buzzy ensemble with a straightforward promise: big feelings. complicated relationships. and a teen-romance tone that’s finding its people fast.
The cast includes Ella Bright (The Crown) and Belmont Cameli (Until Dawn) as leads, with Josh Heuston (Dune: Prophecy), Antonio Cipriano (Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin), Jalen Thomas Brooks (The Pitt), Mika Abdalla (The Pitt), and Stephen Kalyn (Gen V) rounding out the featured lineup.

So they’re basically doing The Boys but with romance? Weird combo honestly.
93% critics and 90% audience??? Okay but how fast does it actually get good. I hate when romance shows start slow. Also “replacement for HBO Max” like Heated Rivalry is just gone??
I guess Prime really said teen romance is the new superhero thing. I saw Carl Urban so I assumed it was gonna be like The Boys spin-off with the same characters or something, but it’s a book adaptation? Idk either way I’ll probably binge it at 2am.
Dropped all 8 episodes at once and now everyone’s acting shocked it’s the most watched. It’s literally designed for bingeing. Also Rotten Tomatoes numbers always feel rigged to me, like critics give it high scores just because it’s popular. I just want them to stop rushing seasons, the finale sounded “rushed but satisfying” which is my least favorite combo.
