Maxx Crosby didn’t just make headlines during the NFL offseason—he turned it into a soundtrack.
On Friday, the Las Vegas Raiders star pass-rusher released a new song titled “Double R.” He shared the music video for the track on YouTube and X.
Crosby’s music career isn’t a one-off. The 28-year-old previously teased a debut EP in July 2025, and he’s already put out earlier tracks including “2AM in Vegas” on April 23 and “PlaqueBoy Maxx” on May 8.
For fans watching the Raiders, the song arrives at a moment when the team’s offseason story has been anything but quiet. On March 6, the Raiders agreed to trade Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for two first-round draft picks. Four days later, Baltimore backed out of the transaction.
Now, Crosby is set to enter his eighth season with Las Vegas.
That return also comes with a new piece of the team’s longer-term plan. On the other side of the ball, the Raiders’ front office selected Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft. It’s a pivot that raises the stakes for everything around the roster—including what Crosby can keep delivering on the field.
His production in 2025 set the tone. Crosby finished the campaign with 73 tackles and 28 tackles for loss, along with 10 sacks.
The offseason has already shown how quickly momentum can swing in the NFL. One trade agreement can flip in days. One top pick can reshape expectations for the future. And now. with “Double R” trending through a music video release on YouTube and X. Crosby is adding another layer to the same headline: the Raiders’ star is still firmly the center of attention—even while the team’s direction keeps changing.
