Martinique vs Honduras LIVE Updates, Concacaf Nations League (0-0)

José Molina shared his thoughts ahead of this match: “We have analyzed everything in detail based on our performance in Jamaica. The priority has been to emphasize the positives so we can keep growing while addressing specific details internally. Given the number of consecutive matches we are facing, our main focus has been on recovery and rest for the players, ensuring they can perform at their best on the pitch.”

“We have improved across various areas, but there is always room for optimization. We handle specific corrections internally with the coaching staff and the squad. Externally, the assessment is positive thanks to the good things we showed in Jamaica, but we remain committed to working hard every day to evolve in every aspect of the game.” “Rather than just rotating the squad, our goal is to inject fresh legs into the team. We have a string of matches coming up, and we have a roster of 26 top-quality players. We already made some changes in the previous match, and for this game, we will continue to refresh certain positions to ensure everyone competes in peak physical condition.”

“His participation is uncertain. We will monitor his progress right up to the last minute alongside the medical staff. We will make the decision that is best for the national team and, above all, for the player’s health; we don’t like to take risks with players, and our goal is for him to return to his club fully healthy.”

“The players are absolutely clear on this: in modern football, there are no easy opponents. Martinique has players competing in European leagues—mainly in France—where the level of competition is extremely high, even in the second divisions. We know it will be a hard-fought, demanding match, but we have full confidence in our ability to put in a great performance and get the result we want.”
