Belfast stabbing, attempted murder, knife attack, north Belfast, Naomi Long, Gavin Robinson, Keir Starmer, Somalian man arrested, hurling stick
Pinned to the floor with a knife?? Like how is that even real.
They hit him with a hurling stick and somehow that’s a good thing? I mean obviously I’m glad the victim lived but still… why are we always acting like “community intervened” is the answer. Also “Somalian” in the headline like ok?
Attempted beheading sounds like one of those internet rumors that gets turned into a headline. If he was stabbed in the face/neck/back… wouldn’t the attacker have to be like, inches away? Idk. The article says police launched an investigation for motive but nobody says what the motive was yet, so people are just gonna assume stuff.
Medieval attack?? Politicians always dramatize but this is still awful. I can’t stop thinking about the guy in his forties pinned there, like nobody could get him off. And now it’s “attempted murder” so does that mean they’re not calling it attempted beheading anymore? Also the victim’s injuries sound crazy, like how do you even come back from that.
