  1. Wait so they just switched numbers from 8 to 33? I mean I get it’s a tribute but why keep a No. 8 decal if they “shelved” it. Sounds kinda confusing to me, but either way RIP Kyle.

  2. The way they say “silent garage pays respect” feels weirdly political like NASCAR is trying to do a PR moment. Also didn’t he die from some kind of heart thing? I saw a headline earlier and now this, so I’m just… not sure what’s true. Either way, tragic.

  3. NASCAR doing the no ceremony thing is kinda classy, not gonna lie. But the whole “reserve No. 8 for his son Brexton when he’s ready” feels like they’re already planning the future instead of just letting the family breathe. And I swear I saw somewhere that the car they pulled was supposed to be No. 88? maybe I’m mixing it up with another race. Sad news either way.
