Israeli Drone Attacks Kill Six Palestinians Across Gaza Despite Ceasefire

Israeli drone strikes across the Gaza Strip killed at least six Palestinians on Saturday, as ongoing military raids continue despite a year-old ceasefire.

Israeli drone attacks killed at least six Palestinians across the Gaza Strip on Saturday, according to Palestinian medical and emergency workers, as deadly raids continue despite a year-old ceasefire.

The latest attacks struck locations in northern, central, and southern Gaza. Near the Jabalia refugee camp, a Palestinian man was killed and several others were wounded when an Israeli drone struck a group of civilians near the al-Faluja cemetery, west of Jabalia, according to medical sources cited by local reports. Another Palestinian was killed and several were injured in a separate drone strike targeting the al-Mawasi area of Rafah.

Earlier, staff at al-Shifa Hospital reported that two people were killed and others wounded in the Tuffah neighbourhood of northeast Gaza City. Witnesses stated that those hit were returning from the burial of an earlier attack victim. An additional person was killed in a separate drone attack in eastern Gaza City, while staff at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza reported one person killed and another injured in Deir el-Balah.

In an update issued on Saturday, Gaza’s Health Ministry stated that 1,511 Palestinians had been killed and 5,375 injured since a United States-brokered ceasefire was announced on October 10, 2025. Over the preceding 48 hours, the ministry recorded six deaths and 43 injuries across the territory. The ministry’s figures also indicate that 74,469 Palestinians have been killed and 175,492 injured since the conflict began in October 2023.

The human toll on children was underscored on Friday by UNICEF spokesperson Ricardo Pires, who told reporters in Geneva that more than 340 children had been killed since the ceasefire began. Pires noted that seven children had died in attacks over the previous two weeks, with at least 33 others seriously injured. The United Nations agency added that approximately 800,000 children remain displaced, living in tents or unsafe buildings as winter approaches.

This ongoing violence coincides with mounting restrictions on Gaza’s population, as mapping indicates Israeli forces control or restrict access to roughly 65 percent of the territory. The accessible area currently accommodates 2.1 million people, while Gaza’s Health Ministry warned on Friday that over 1.4 million Palestinians are projected to face crisis-level food insecurity or worse for the remainder of the year.
