I don’t get how they can call it “progress” if the offense looks lost. Also who cares if A.J. Brown is gone, isn’t that supposed to help? Either way Sean Mannion sounds like he’s still figuring it out.
Riq Woolen?? That’s a Seattle guy right? So they just letting him jump routes like that? And it was “meant for Goedert” which like… that means Hurts can’t read defenses yet. I know it’s minicamp but if they’re “behind the defense” already then training camp is gonna be rough.
Mannion being first-year coordinator is probably why. But also the Eagles traded A.J. Brown and now they act like the passing game is recalibrating, like it’s a switch you flip in a week. Fangio being in his third year makes sense though, defense always seems ahead, offense always lagging. And the article cuts off at the end like they got bored, which kinda feels right lol.
