Days after a ceremony in Florida. the 48-year-old eldest son of President Donald Trump and the 39-year-old model/socialite married again on Saturday (May 23) in an intimate ceremony on a private island in the Bahamas. People confirmed. The setting was familiar to the couple: “Bettina and Don Jr. got married on a glorious day in a place where they often visit,” a source told the outlet.
This time, the guest list leaned heavily into family. Donald Jr.’s siblings Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, and Tiffany Trump were in attendance, along with their spouses. Bettina’s family and a few close friends were also there.
A Florida legal ceremony came first. Wedding documentation obtained by People shows Donald Jr. and Bettina applied for their wedding certificate on May 14. The document states they married at Bettina’s twin sister Kristina Anderson McPherson’s home in West Palm Beach, Fla. It also lists Bettina’s brother-in-law—real estate attorney Bradley McPherson—as the officiant. Bradley has worked closely with the Trump family for years.
That Florida ceremony was described as a legal formality the couple needed to handle before wedding festivities outside of the United States. The certificate does not indicate that Bettina will be taking “Trump” as her last name.
The timeline has been moving fast in the background. Donald Jr. proposed to Bettina in December 2025. and they began dating in 2024 around the same time his engagement to former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle ended. Donald Jr. was previously married to Vanessa Trump from 2005 to 2018, and they share five children: Kai, 19; Donald, 17; Tristan, 14; Spencer, 13; and Chloe, 11.
The day before the Bahamas wedding, President Trump said he would not be attending, citing “circumstances pertaining to Government, and my love for the United States of America.” It’s unclear if Ivanka Trump or Baron were at the wedding.
