Federal Aviation Administration Proposes $351,000 Fine Against Arkansas Charter Company

The Federal Aviation Administration has proposed a civil penalty of $351,000 against an Arkansas private charter company for allegedly conducting dozens of unauthorized passenger-carrying flights.

The penalty targets Creamer Pilot Services of Fayetteville, Arkansas, which operates under the business name Jett Aircraft. According to the federal agency, the company carried passengers on 31 separate flights utilizing three aircraft that were not authorized on its official Operations Specifications. The FAA stated that these particular violations occurred across various dates spanning from October 2021 through July 2022.

In addition to the aircraft specification violations, the regulatory agency alleged that Creamer Pilot Services operated six passenger-carrying flights on two aircraft that were properly listed on its Operations Specifications, but flew outside the 48 contiguous United States without the requisite authorization. Those geographical violations reportedly took place between April 2022 and November 2022.

The FAA contends that all 37 alleged infractions were carried out knowingly, carelessly, and recklessly by the charter operator.
